Terms used in the logon screen:
Daily Password: This is the password that will allow you to access the system on a daily basis. Insert this password after you have inserted your operator ID.
Operator Reset Key: This replaces the current PIN (Personal Identification Number). You will use it in the event that you have forgotten your daily password. If you forget your daily password, contact the Business Online call center and they will reset your daily password back to your operator reset key. When you access the system you will be prompted to insert your operator reset key and then asked to create a new daily password.
How do I log on for the first time?
- Enter your operator ID.
- Click on the button.
- An information message will appear informing you that you are required to choose and load an operator reset key.
- Click on the button.
- The system will bring up a pop up screen which will prompt you to enter a operator reset key of your choice (The operator reset key must be 3 - 8 characters in length and can consist of alpha or numeric characters)
- Enter your operator reset key and then confirm by retyping the operator reset key.
- Click on the button.
- An information message will appear stating ‘Operator reset key loaded successfully. Please contact the call center for activation.’
- After calling the call center you may continue with the logon process by entering your operator reset key on the sign on screen
- An information message will display advising that your operator reset key has been accepted and you are now required to load a new daily password.
- Click on the button.
- The system will bring up a pop up screen that will prompt you to enter your operator reset key and load a new daily password of your choice. (The daily password must be 6 - 8 characters in length and can consist of alpha or numeric characters)
- Enter a new daily password and then confirm by retyping the daily password.
- Click on the button.
- An information message will appear stating ‘Daily password loaded successfully’.
- Click on the button.
How do I log on for daily use, once I have logged on for the first time?
- Enter your operator ID
- Enter your daily password.
- Click on the button.
How do I change my password?
- The system will force you to change your daily password every 30 days. A pop up screen will allow you to change your daily password.
- If you would like to change your daily password prior to the expiry date, click on the administration module in the system and click on the ‘Change daily password' option in the drop down box.
- A pop up will appear which will allow you to put in the old daily password.
- Enter a new daily password.
- Confirm the daily password by retyping it.
- Click on the button.
- This is the daily password that you will use when logging onto the system again.
