Administration Fee Report
The Administration Fee Report displays the administration fees levied to client accounts. The Administration Fee Report is populated by both cyclic administration fee recovery and the account closure process.
Successful and unsuccessful administration fee recoveries will be listed. The operator is able to select one of 3 radio buttons in the Audit Transactions section. The list of records on the screen will be filtered accordingly.

The report will by default display entries for the current date.
The following fields are listed on the Administration Fee Report:
Start date
The operator is able to select a Start date with the assistance of a pop-up calendar. The calendar pops up once operator clicks in the start date field.
End date
The operator is able to select an End date with the assistance of a pop-up calendar. The calendar pops up once operator clicks in the date field.
The end date cannot be a date in the future and must be greater than start date.
Account No
The account number for which administration fee was generated.
Account name
Name of the account holder.
Branch
The domicile branch code of the account.
Client Ref
The Agent specific client reference as entered when opening the account.
Admin Fee (excl VAT)
Administration fee amount debited to the account during the closing process. This amount will not include VAT. Rand amount.
VAT
VAT on Administration Fee debited to the account during the closing process. Rand amount.
Admin Fee type
Will indicate the option used to calculate the admin fee:
- No Fee
- Flat Fee
- Fixed Percentage on interest
- Net interest, Fixed Percentage
- Net interest, Sliding scale.
The default fee option will apply to open accounts if the fee option that was not configured for a specific account.
Admin Fee %
The administration fee percentage (as configured in the admin fee option). Will be zero when No fee or Flat fee applies.
Gross Interest
Interest amount paid to the account. Rand amount.
Net Interest
The difference between the Gross Interest amount and the Admin fee levied (including VAT).
Value date
The date that the transaction value must apply in the account for interest purposes.
Fee Origin
Indicates the source of the Administration fee - Cyclic Administration fee or Account Closure.
Reason
Indicates the status of the administration fee record. Blank will indicate that administration fee and VAT were
successfully debited from the client’s account. A failure reason will indicate that the administration fee and VAT
could not be debited from the client’s account. This field will show the reason for the failure, such as insufficient funds.
Total Gross Interest
The total interest amount paid to the selected account/s. Rand amount.
Total Admin Fee (excl VAT)
The total administration fee amount debited to the account/s selected during the closing process. This amount will not include VAT. Rand amount.
Total VAT
Total VAT on administration fee debited to the selected account/s during the closing process. Rand amount
Total Net Interest
The total difference between the gross interest amount and the admin fee levied (incl VAT). Rand amount.
The following action can be performed:
The system will retrieve the latest information from the database for display.
This button will close the current screen without performing an action.
This button will display the help files for the Account Closure Report.
The following generic functions can be performed using the right mouse click:
Allows the operator to highlight all the records for export or printing purposes.
Enables the storing of selected records in a file.
Enables the printing of selected records.
Enables the operator to search for specific records according to the criteria entered.
Note: Multi-selection of records is possible for printing and export purposes.
